Nigel Ford

Nigel is an experienced reinsurance broker with an excellent reputation in the London and international reinsurance market. His insurance career started in 1990 at Hogg Insurance Brokers where he placed US and Canadian Binding Authorities, facultative property, construction and contingency risks into Lloyd’s. He then moved into the reinsurance world at Bain Clarkson, then Aon, and has specialised in broking cross-class business for single territories including Japan, Canada and Australia. Nigel has lived and worked in Sydney, Toronto and Tokyo. He joined CJC in 2019 to set up and build our dedicated reinsurance unit. He loves the variety of enquiries received from around the world and the challenge of placing reinsurance to respond to these.
